Intramural Sports invites you to register online for the 3V3 Outdoor Basketball Tournament through May 4, 10a.m.–5p.m. at the Intramural Sports website. Registration is ongoing and spots are filling up quickly, so register today. The entry fee is only $30 per team. The tournament is to be held on Friday and Saturday, May 11–12 at Dairy Basketball Courts. The divisions offered are Men’s Open, Five Ten & Under, Women’s, and CoRec. Lace up and get pumped up for this dunk-fest.
Intramural Sports invites all Res Hall teams to register online for the inaugural IM Quidditch Tournament through May 4, 10a.m.–5p.m. at the Intramural Sports website.
It only takes 7 players to compete in the very first Muggle Quidditch Tournament ever at UC Davis. Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of Davis history!For those of you not familiar with the Harry Potter based sport, it is a fast paced game combining elements from basketball, dodgeball and tag. Chasers try to score by throwing the "Quaffle" through the goals while Keepers try to block their shots. Beaters throw "Bludgers" (dodgeballs) at opposing players to "knock them out." And the fabled Seeker (Harry Potter's position) tries to catch the golden snitch, which in our game is a person running around!
Tournaments and Paloozas offered Spring quarter are 3 Point Shootout (new), IM 5K/10K, Golf Scramble, Outdoor 3v3 Basketball, One Pitch Softball (new), and Wiffleball Palooza.
All team sports will require teams to wear light and dark colored shirts. All HOME teams will wear light colored shirts and all AWAY teams will wear dark colored shirts. Grey is considered LIGHT. IM Basketball will require numbers on the back of each shirt.
